Orleans’s Classical and Baroque Music Festival is organised by the local group of church organ enthusiasts, in partnership with the baroque music ensemble Les Folies Françoises. However, in 2011 the event is adopting a more independent form and returning to a more traditional festival format, while still linked in spirit to the Folies Françoises.This is considered a major musical event in the cultural landscape of Orleans. Spring is ushered in each year with a different theme and numerous concerts. Performers of international renown are welcomed to the town of Orleans every year.
